Sure thing. And the instructions are weird... It just says turn the thingy. And it's a Marineland timer.

Edit: Uh oh, 666 posts.

That helps a bit. I'll get it working.

We're still fighting the diatoms and a touch of hair algae, which seems to dislike having excel squirted on it. TAKE THAT, ALGAE!

Two CPDs healthy, one sick. It's hard to catch the sick one because he refuses to take the bait in a trap. :|

My habrosus bros are doing well. Suesswassertang... still not growing. I may call it on it in this tank and go for a low tech shrimp tank later. The Christmas moss is humming along though!

Shrimp haven't figured out the dish yet. Silly shrimplets.

CPDs rehomed! I hope I didn't squish or lose any of my shrimplets in the ensuing rescaping. T_T I had to move the plants and catch them that way. They were too smart for me... the CPDs would drag the bloodworm bait out of the nets. Woe.

But hopefully things will go well! Thank you, Psionic, for taking my wayward CPDs. >_>

Thank you for the fish! They're swimming around in a 10 gallon tank to be in quarantine for a little bit. They have the whole pad to themselves so they're swimming around. Were you able to use any of the plants? The cabomba stems will grow quick and then just resnip and plant. The other ones, I have no idea what they are, but they can be tall and wispy or shrubbier if you plant em together. The rest were little small things. The pink one will grow with low light and stay pink too.

That's awesome. And yeah, I'm gonna squish the cabombas and stuff in back. I'm having a time with the substrate holding them. My shrimps are coming out more. I'm glad I went with oranges, though any color of shrimp would rock I think!

I'm glad to hear they are happy and chilling. They deserve a good pad. I may see about some dwarf tears or moss carpeting because the shrimps LOVE cruisin' along that log.

I had dwarfs tears for a little bit. Planting that stuff is... best done while under heavy influences of alcohol.

Owch. Maybe I'll save it for super shrimptopia or something when I can afford decent booze then.

My shrimp are out and about more. I think my suesswassertang is growing too! The mossy log is doing well. The habrosus bros are chillin'. They don't seem as brave as before, maybe I need those micro rasboras.

But I'd like otos AND micro rasboras. Wonder if I can fit both in my 10g.

How are you growing your sub? I recently got some and haven't put it in my tank except for one small tuft.

Her tank is cute and little. It's like a little rainforest in there. But with fish.

My suesswassertang? I put it on a rock with some mesh from a sacrificial bath poof (And let me know if you want some of the mesh! I got plenty.) and tied the bottom with some cotton thread. The mesh is nice and big.

And aww, thank you! I'm glad it's a good look. I wanted to go for something foresty. I love green things. I'm currently soaking those cabombas. The big downside to a little tank is one thing gets knocked over and suddenly it's a domino party. I think my favorite thing in there is the mossy log. The shrimps really dig it too.

My habrosus bros are doing well. I wish they wouldn't use the shrimp feeding dish as a cuddle pile practice tub. But it's cute as a heck. The shrimps seem picky - they haven't really gone after any of the foods. I wonder if it's because I've got some diatoms and algae. I still wanna see a pumpkin shrimp ball! (I sent poor sampster on a shrimp run. >>)

I'm still learning to use the digital camera. Apparently mucking with the ISO settings is a good way to go in lieu of a macro lens, so I'll give that a try. The only downside is I have to remember to charge the batteries. >< Whoops.

Thank you guys for the encouragement. I'll try to grab a picture after I get the cabombas in. I'm gonna swap my C. parva out... it's kinda going limp and from what I read, it does best in a higher light tank.

I'm so proud of my shrimps. They finally figured out the glass dish and went for some Borneowild color. One even poked a catfish and scampered off with her food. Brave little shrimpie!

I changed the water today, did some trimming (I hope I don't have that icky black algae...), and all that. Am I odd for being scared of hurting my fish/shrimps during a water change?

But I planted han's green cabombas! (I might get more when I can!) They look snazzy! I think bushy cabombas in bank, the hygro pinnawhatsits and the slightly dishlike bacopas make a neat foresty look. I think my tiger lily is running itself thin though. The moss is happy!

My moss screens are just now starting to get a few little twigs shooting out of the inside. Damn things need to sprout faster. I have those otos in my fish tank. I'm hoping they'll live for a week or two and get a little chubbier. I'm going to toss in some zucchini tomorrow.
