what light
didnt get a reply in the ''lighting forum so thought id post in a more active forum
i currently Hve a elite tank with a 14w T8 15'' 38cm Aqual Glow light in it and its struck me that this new light is very blue ish and clear and my heavy planted tank looks a bit rubbish with it when im cleaning i have the lid of and use a desk lamp over the top to see and it looks great it quite an orangey light but with the vallasis it looks good giving a more realistic underwater look When i replace it what bulb should i get istead that will make this colour as im no expert on it ? ive tried tanin black water but its no right still? for better idea of the colour o want folllow this link showing the tank when lit up with the desk lamp http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/yo...o=view&id=3372

6500k looks the most natural in my opinion. The 90 gallon in my sig runs all 6500k bulbs for reference.
