It's still my favorite medium, though. I've tried hard to like a computer screen better than a book, but without success.

Thanks for the correction, Jay. Wasserpest, despite coming out only four times a year, it still packs more plant information into it than you'll see in TFH or AFM combined, IMO. I like Karen Randall's Sunken Gardens section in AFM, but if there's only one question being answered and it doesn't apply to you, you have to wait for another month and hope that the next question is more relevant to your set up.

aga, now how could i have forgotten about that one. had a subscription a few years back.

as wasserpest pointed out, mags are definitely not the cutting edge (try finding an article on odno!), however, it's nice to curl up with a mag now and then.

was travelling this weekend and the only mag i could find in town was fama. very little plant info in the issue. however it's good to read about other aspects of the hobby once in awhile ie marines etc. lots of ads in the mag as well; however most of it marine related stuff. of course i could pick up a protein skimmer or two if i had not dropped $600 last week for my cat's dental work.

so i guess i'll go with aga.

regards all.
