Help! What kind of shrimp is this?

Help! What kind of shrimp is this?


When i bought these shrimps i was told they were called "Jet Black shrimp." I've search all over the webs for information and nothing came up.

ummmm.... am I missing something in the picture or did you buy "Jet Black Shrimp" that were red?

Looks like Sakura Red cherry to me.

I saw darker red, almost completely black, shrimp in his tank, but i wanted to get the berried shrimps so i pass out on the darker red.

Yeah they look like sakura cherry reds. Theres no such shrimp in the hobby called "Jet Black Shrimp". Just a fancy name marketers will pull out of their rear for the unsuspecting customer to fall for.

Could have been chocolate. They come from darker and darker cherries.
