SO my aquarium is TOTALLY overgrown right now; mostly with mosses, but the other plants are doing fairly well too so everyone could use a little trim.

I am going to take a photo for you folks tonight so you can see the "before" trim photo. Once I get all the trimming done I will wait a few days and take a tidy "after" photo as well.

I am in the process of setting up a nice vivarium using an all acrylic enclosure that we may be carrying in the near future; I am going to be using a lot of my excess moss in that enclosure. Although it isn't a fully aquatic planted tank, I thought you plant fanatics might like to see how that progresses as well

This tank was disassembled quite a while ago. I set up a lot of new systems, prove them out to work well, and then take them apart so I can build a new one and test out newer equipment.

Currently I am running a 20g reef aquarium for testing some great reef products and lighting that we will be carrying very shortly.

Absolutely,

We may or may not ever carry ADA, but we will certainly continue to scout out higher end planted aquarium product lines.

I have actually gone through more than a handful already trying to find something we think will be worth carrying, but it takes time and testing as well as paperwork to get it sorted out. A lot of the time we have access to certain lines, but shipping them becomes an issue for customs reasons. We also want to make sure that there is a reliable warranty through the company we choose to carry products from.

Hopefully we will have some great new plant tech products coming up this year!

Well, in fact, being a very large company makes it more difficult to take on products from smaller companies that are not inside the group of large manufacturers like Central Aquatics or UPG. For example, a lot of these smaller manufacturers we have considered do not have a reliable warranty service for their products. More concerning than that, many of the smaller manufacturers do not have the necessary safety ratings on their products. We can not legally sell any product that doesn't have proper safety ratings.

Like I was saying, we are doing our best to expand our high tech plant product roster. It will take some time, but we refuse to bring in anything that we do not feel is reliable and safe.
