marks on my leaves

Hey guys long time lurker here.

I have some amazon swords in my angel tank and I just added some hornwort (I really like the way it looks) and I noticed that some of the leaves on my sword have holes, very straight holes (like rectangles) with black edges. the fisn in the tank are angels xray tetras guppies and a 6 inch pleco

any thoughts.

As I started reading your post, I thought one thing and then **BAM** there it was PLECO! They can really rasp away on the leaves of sword plants.

A picture of the holes would really solidify my estimation, but my best guess is the pleco.

I thought that as well but the swords are months old and that just started. as soon as I can I will post a photo. im not saying it isnt the pleco. I thought the same thing but I thought it was strange that he would start only after I added the hornwort. (of course that about tripled the number of plants in the tank.
