Custom rimless 40b.

I got a 40 gallon breeder and I have been thinking about taking of the rim and bracing it with glass pieces. I do not know if a 40b really needs it. I have a 29 gallon that is rimless and it is fine. Anybody have any guides on doing this?

My 40 breeder has been de-rimmed and water is abotu 3 inches from the top. No problems.

Is it a regular aqueon or all glass without the center brace? How long has it been rimless? do you have any pictures?
