Why do you assume I haven't researched my species? I haven't just researched my species but have researched almost all of Lake Malawi inhabitants. I am aware that larger cichlids will be the cause of floating plants and that's why there is flat rock holding them down. I can't even pull them out without moving the flat rocks first. Overstocked? Have you done your research? It doesn't seem like it. As juvenile fish my tank is drastically understocked. Now I do agree that at full maturity even the two venustus' would be too large to keep in a tank the size of mine. But, I have no plans of keeping any of my fish into their mature stages of life. Also, I don't understand why my fish are incompatible, since all my fish are exactly the same size (within 10 milemetres) they are totally compatible. Each pair has their own spot in the tank that they have taken to quite nicely thank you very much.

I know you probably didn't mean it to be but I find your post very ignorant and rude. Why would you assume for a second that I haven't done my research? I'm not even going to continue. You just made me decide to never visit the plantedtank again... C-YA folks.
