1g Vase project
Saw this awesome cylinder vase in Wal-Mart for $4 and bought it, been wanting a nano project like this for a while. It holds about 1g of water...also stopped at the pet store and found the perfect piece of driftwood, tiny enough to go right in the center.

....and planted!
Currently has some leftover anubias nana "mini, some tiny vals, and a single little sagittaria plant that was sprouting in the wrong place in my ebi. And a big crypt that is still a little squished from shipping, it's been slowly righting itself. ![]() ![]() The surface is completely covered in frogbit:

Lol I picked up 2 of the same cylinders for plants. You gotta watch out, some of them are really poor made, i.e. very thin glass on one side and thick on the other. Take a careful look before getting one. They serve as pretty decent nurseries for stem plants.

Yea I noticed that when looking at them O.o and made an effort to get the most 'uniform' looking one. Hopefully this starts looking more jungle-ish once the plants grow and I could put a few shrimp in.

Yeah I got my bowl from Walmart too and recently noticed a few dents in it, had a nightmare that it just shattered out of the blue lol.
Shrimp will work great especially as the container fills out more, they can use a lot of the vertical space (they love frogbit roots), what light are you using?
