Looking good! My only bit of advice would be to get a background. Not sure if you planned on that or not, but it will boost the look of your tank tremendously. Just a thought. Keep it up!

Yeah I was planning on getting a background. Although something about the open back also seems attractive. IDK.

I am now adding co2 to my tank through an airstone. I have it as low as it will go. I am waiting for my diffuser and bubble counter from marine depot. It should be here Friday.

Any body have any tips on planting HC in a tank with water in it already?

Yes.....be very patient. Drain it as much as you can (cuz of the fish) and then start to plant, tweezers of some sort will help greatly.

I got my plants. I planted my tank without taking any water out too. I still need to get a background for the tank.

Once the hc starts to root, will it be pretty solidly attached to the sand? Or will it float if it is even touched? A little bit is floating around on the surface today but most of it is still intact. I lost a lot of my co2 because I used the wrong gasket at first so this weekend I will be filling up the other bottle. I still have enough though for about a week.
