Po4 5 too high

Apparently my water supply is high in PO4. Have been fighting persistent algae in my planted tank. All other parameters seem fine.
PH 7.0
KH 14
No3 10
PO 4 5

How can I lower the PO4? I believe, (after weekly 50% water changes) that this is coming from my water supply.

Thanks for comments

IMO this shouldn't be a problem- How much light? What kind of algae you dealing with? You are dosing Kn03 to achieve that level of no3?

I would not worry about removing any PO4, just one less thing to dose.

I'll second that, I have been keeping my PO4 higher for only a week and already the spot alage is decreasing. I was a high as 3, but I dont think that 5 would matter.

My light is just over 2.65wpg if memory serves me correctly. I am battling green brush algae and BBA.

You need to raise your CO2 level to at least 30ppm. If you are not putting in CO2 you need to start. Also do a search on flourish Excel. When overdosing it can help control BBA.
