How much light to grow java fern in 160g tall

Hi, my tank is 6ft long, 20 inches wide and 27 inches tall. I have no plants in it atm but im gonna have a java fern JUNGLE in there so how much lighting would be good for such a tall tank. I currently have an 8x 30w t8 fixture that came with the tank. It has 2 switches so I can choose to have either 4 or 8 bulbs running however I'm not using this fixture atm as the bulbs are like 3 years old and very dim and I prefer the look of the arcadia 2x 39w t5ho im using on it. None of the fixtures have reflectors but I was looking at getting 2 for the arcadia t5's. I wont be running c02 and probably not using ferts. Can I grow java fern with 2 39w t5ho 6700k tubes with reflectors?
Any help will be appriciated,
Harvey

Im only gonna have java fern, I have a book which shows a 48x18x18 tank full of java fern.As it is an old book it says it used 2x 20w t8 bulbs. I had java fern before but i had a dieout, probably due to very low stocking so not enough ferts and too much light without c02.
So will 2x 39w t5HO with reflectors be enough?

Java fern will do fine from very, very low light to medium lighting. However, if you are under light, it is hard to add more later without replacing your fixture. 80w T5HO maybe on the low side on your tank, with 27 inches tall. If it is too much light, you can always shade the area with a white cloth (on top of the tank).

Java fern will grow in ambient light in a lightly used basement.
