55 Gal vert build!

Here we go!
This will be a 55 gallon vertical tank. So far I have just started on the tree that will go in the corner.

Could you show a full tank shot by chance? Are you making the entire tank yourself, or are you using an existing tank and covering the traditional open top? What are your plans after it is complete?

It is a open top 55gal I will have to build a side panel for, it is in storage right now I will take some photos when I get it out soon. I am thanking of dart frogs, but not that's not set in stone.

I just finished the spray foam, I got one more side to go.

How much of it (if any) will be under/near water? It does look good at this point but I am trying to see your final vision in my mind

There will not be any standing water in this tank, but they can be fully submerged. These are some of the best out there.

I think I recognize those pictures above. Was that HX that made those? I think he used rope/ twine covered in his tile grout/ epoxy resin to make some of those roots. It can make a nice effect.

Right on! Good eye. You need the grout if it's under water. I going to ad rope and twine, once I get the first layer of silicone peat mix done.

I just finished deriming my tank. Got the silicone cleaned off, and now I got to clean it.

I set the tree in it to see how it fits, and it fits great!
