Algae Grower

Hi. I too have a tank that size and it has gone through many variants. My favorite was when I put 2 good sized rocks in it and covered the rocks with weeping moss. The tank had no substrate. I tied down Christmas moss to cross stitch plastic and that was the bottom. It housed shrimp for a couple of years before I broke it down.

My 2.5 gallon is a mini community. 6 boraras merah and 1 sparkling gourami, plus cherry and blue bee shrimp. A horned nerite to eat any algae. And tons of plants. Doesn't look busy at all.
