tank size


can someone tell me how many gallons this tank is? or a link i could use
length-36
width-18
height-13
it is a free tank my buddy just dropped off, but it has no hood or lights.

According to that calculator, it is approximately 36.47 US gallons.

Sounds like a 30 gallon breeder. I was considering one a while ago and I think that's what the dimensions were.

Can someone please post a link to an aquarium volume calculator that either calculates based on interior measurements, or somehow appropriately factors in the thickness of the tank's glass? This extraordinarily obvious factor is consistently overlooked, or not appropriately documented in the assumptions of the calculator!

Sorry for the rant - the unbelievably consistent overlooking of the obvious is just frustrating.

Agreed, as is the painful conversion from UK gallons to US gallons...

I'll stick to calling mine a 55gal, even tho it's Really 175 litres!

Take inside measurements. Figure cubic inches, divide by 231. You will have gallons.

LOL scolley. Just enter the inside measurments in the calculator and you will get the answer you seek.
