Good Petshop in Brooklyn?
From Manhattan, my main petshops are Pacific and Win. Ocassionally Fishtown when I can get out there. I will be at the Ikea in Brooklyn tomorrow, and am wondering if there are any decent petshops worth stopping at while I'm there?
Any place that sells some aquatic plants other than swords? I realize there is another thread dedicated to petshops, but thought it might be easier to inquire this way. Thanks for any info! |

Royal Aqua has some decent plants sometimes, not cheap though imo but worth to pay a visit.

I was in Bensonhurst last week and visited a mom and pop fish store and a Petland. Wow , not pretty at all. Plants and fish were in horrible shape. It's too bad, when I was a kid there used to be so many good aquarium stores. Not so much anymore. I'm surprised there isn't a hi end ADA type shop in the city. I would be in there every week! Well , I know from experience with surfing, that little by little if there is demand things get better. There are surf shops everywhere now here. Maybe with tank and plant stuff it will happen also. I'm hoping...
