Lighting sugestions

Hi Everyone!
Ive decided to upgrade my lights. The ones I have are only about 4 months old but I went about buying lights all wrone when I first set up my tank. I have the main lights then I have an extra strip the tank came with along with 3 led lights. The whole top of my tank is covered with wires and lights and it just looks crappy. The main lights only give off 48 watts so thats not enough light for what i want.
I have a 36 gallon bowfront and want to have an open top. Im looking for about 2.5 watts per gallon and water proof so I can have the open top. Im looking to spend between 100-150$. Also What kinds of bulbs would you suggest?
