Will this work on Fluval Spec???

I have repositioned my co2 ceramic diffuser right above the water pump in the small circulation chamber behind my tank, and hope that the pump will suck the bubbles in and blow them out into the water column, so will this work? I am speaking specifically of the Fluval Spec 2 gallon pico tank. where there are two filter-chambers in the back - one for the pump (where I squeezed my diffuser in), and one for the filter media.

Sure does. The powerhead/pump will chop up a good amount of the co2 bubbles and shoot it through out the tank. Just make sure the pump's head doesn't point straight to the surface, otherwise it's just wasted.
