Local place that offers custom made tanks.
Anyone know of a local place that would be willing to make custom glass aquarium tanks? ...or even acrylic?
Need and extra wide and shallow tank. I've looked through eBay and places that sell turtle tanks but have found nothing that would suit my needs. Looking for a tank with a max volume of water being 10 gal and have the footprint of a 20 or 20 long tank (24"L or 30"L). Why doesn't anyone offer these sizes for betta tanks instead of the traditional 2.5 or 4 gal tanks that crame 3-4 bettas? Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm thinking you should do DIY...a tank the size your looking for would be crazy expensive, if you look at the cost of it compared to a normal tank. If your going with the foot print of a 20L then the glass needed could be had for a little of nothing if the shop has a scrap bin or your willing to wait for off falls of sheets they use for other jobs you might even get it for free.

Leemar is based in Cali and will make custom tanks, bring an extra wallet to pay.
I'd also reccomend you go over to ReefCentral.com and do a search on custom aquarium. You will find lots of comments about many different builders.
