Fertilizers and Nitrate Readings

Good water changes, good dosing, consistent care, good CO2 management, reasonable lighting, good horticulture..........none of this issues are problematic.

Fluval Stratum is a nutrient rich substrate, and I am pretty sure it contains lots of available nitrogen. That could easily be the source of the nitrates, assuming the test result means anything.
