What algae is?

My tanks been running on co2 for 2 months and now it is covered in algae, I'm bot sure if its to much light or the co2.

Can some on tell me what algae it is and how I can get rid of it?

try cutting back the lights for time kept on. it will take some time to show affectiveness.
direct or indirect sunlight will also have a affect.

if its the brown in the photos...looks like diatom outbreak

otos love the stuff and will clean it overtime...till then, probably too much light, not enough CO2

Diatoms - totally normal.

Manually remove as much as possible (a small siphon hose helps), during a water change, then add about 15 Amano shrimp per 20 gallons and some ocats and it'll clear within 24-48 hours.

^^but then you have a tank full of fish/shrimp that will starve

aim to have enough that they can clean it out over a week...that way they can sustain themselves and not starve to death
