Gvtv44's 125 Gallon Planted: Through the Years..

Hello All,

This tank is in a relative's house, and when I was a teenager I took it upon myself to set it up as a low-tech planted tank. I saw discus in my LFS, and well, the rest was history.

I have had three "batches" over time, the first of which I lost from hole in the head, the second I lost from someone poisoning the tank (their housekeeper we believe), and the last batch died overtime due to finicky eating. At its peak, I had an actively breeding pair which bred on a huge sword plant, quite regularly, which I had quite a few hatchlings.

I recently set the tank back up, and at their request, have some angels (along with some Rummy-nose tetras. I will be updating with many more pics once I find them.

I currently have 3 planted tanks (working on one other), and 2 nano reefs.

Enjoy!

VERY NICE ANGELS!

I wish I had a Tank that size! I could plant a whole lot in it! Knowing me though I bet a could grow a BUNCH of ALGAE in it too!!! LOL

I am interested to see the progression of the tank. What type of filters Ya running on it? Also is that standard gravel or dirt, or???
