For anyone lookin from more the beach area, the store in the merritt island "new publix" shopping mall has an owner that is avid in aquadic plants as well. Not the best fish selection in the past, but wonderfull plants that come in.

Aquarium Fanatics (the one on Kirkman) is still around, I believe. They supposedly moved down the street, but I haven't been there first hand to see.

I was just at Aquaria Studio yesterday. They are pretty pricey ($12 for a Bamboo Shrimp!?) But they also have the best looking fish and cleanest tanks I have seen anywhere in the area. I don't think I have ever been in and not seen an employee taking care of a tank. They are also willing to order ANYTHING you could think of wanting.
Petland in Waterford is pretty decent as well, although recently they seem to have one or two employees in their fish department that don't really know much about what is going on in their tanks. I bought an Amano and about seven White Clouds there almost two years ago and they were all very healthy...in fact all but two WCs are still alive believe it or not. I didn't see anyone post Pet Bazaar in Cassleberry. They are very very friendly and very knowledgeable even though they mainly have reptiles. One of the few places that I know keep a variety of shrimp and African Dwarf Frogs almost constantly in stock. Side note, I have never had a bad experience there. Seriously, I have called several times with an assortment of questions and they are always very sweet and if they don't know an answer they will find out for you without making you feel like you are a bother to them. |

I have it understood they are salty. I was told by someone who works at Petco that there are two shops in Apopka off 441 that are fresh/salt though.

I'm here in Orlando for vacation this week, sounds like there aren't many freshwater LFS like I thought... Maybe just go to Petland and take a look.

Ocean Blue has a jungle of a freshwater planted tank last time I was there, was interesting to look at. They had some interesting freshwater livestock, but I saw most of the less common fish at Fishy Business as well, cheeper, maybe not as healthy.
If you are interested in reef, Sea-in-the-City (along with Ocean Blue) were very awesome. Was quite surprised by the amount of staffing at Sea-in-the-City, a lot of frags :>

I did a little tour de fish stores this afternoon... ocean blue I think moved locations and is all salt. The pet supermarket in casselberry off 436 actually wasn't terrible they had some large plants in with their fish. It was very clean and healthy looking. Pet bazaar has a good fish and driftwood collection not much else but I bought two lil Otto's from them.
