How to plant glosso and hair grass

I got my shipment of plants and put them all in the tank, but I noticed everyones glosso is planted different then mine. I just planted the bunch together thinking it would spread out on its own. Is this correct or do I need to pull it apart and space it out? If I do need to space it out how do you anchor it in the substrate. I did the same thing with the hair grass, but it was anchored in a pot filler and I didn't know what would happen to the grass if I tried to pull it out, I figured there would be grass floating everywhere.
Also how do you insert a picture in your post? All I could figure out is how to post a link. Thanks for the help.

Here's the link to a picture of my tank:
72 Bow, 100% Eco-Complete, Hydor Heater, XP3, JBJ Regulator w/5lb Co2 Tank Ph Controlled,
AB Reactor 1000, 260watts JBJ Formosa Lights(6500 & 10,000).
