www.aquabotanic.com has them. Yes, it's called red temple too.

You should post this last month. I tore all mine out for Ludwigia gladulosa & Hygrophila polysperma.

That would be one of the common names.

I've gotten some nice specimens from Petsmart on occasion, after that you just trim the top and plant it, it also encourages a bushier growth, but it's one of those plants that can take control of your as well if you don't tame it.

Are you looking for Alternanthera Reineckii or Red Hygrophilia? They are not the same plant. Red Hygrophila is easier to find and grow. Most any petstore that carries plants should be able to order it in.

According to Chuck (here's his link)

Quote:
Red Hygrophila
Alternanthera rosaefolia
NOTE: apparently this is not a true aquatic. It grows emersed just fine, but dies off quickly when submersed
He has a picture too, so it's easier to tell if that's the one your looking for.

Alternanthera Reineckii rosaefolia (pink) is the easiest alternanthera to grow. Needs medium/high light but grows like a weed submersed or emersed. I got some at Petsmart once, but they didn't know what it was. There is a pic of it in the gallery under Betowess. bob
