Those marineland units are a PITA. The local walmart threw one away when they shut down the fish section and a friend got it. He spent almost a year making it worth a darn.

I asked if they would sell me one of the salt water setups they have, was quoted 375$ for a complete, running 55g, or 525$ for a 180g. That includes rocks and fish. Sounds like an awesome deal to me, but I have no experience with salt water tanks whatsoever.

So good/ bad idea?

for only $375 u cant really turn it down can you? Thats a good price, even if you make a few schoolboy errors

Sigh, well hubby ixnayed it saying we have no room. Even though I rearranged the living room and found room for it. Or I could fit it in the dining room...or exercise room. Bah, gotta give him what he wants sometimes right?
