I already know about the cultures. My first one came back negative for staph or mrsa, but now my doctor has put in a referral to the infectious disease specialist so they are suppose to get ahold of me. Thought I'd hear from them today, but hopefully tomorrow. And this thing is not a flesh eating bacteria...

Really sucks that they had to give up their horses...

well i hope she gets better and doesn't have to lose her hand, but i wouldn't worry at all about getting this. look at how many people are in and out of the ocean, lakes, aquariums and pools everyday. chances of getting this are miniscule.

i'm in the river near my house several times a week fro the time the ice goes out to the time it comes in and i have yet to get anything worse than a ear infection.
