Well here are the first pics of my 55.....been running for 2weeks or so.....beginning the "real" planting in another week......

Didnt relize how large that picture was....will crop the images up a bit and post again soon......the little white spot on the small anubias is a peice and gravel....and those 2 sickly looking plants are doing better with new lights and co2.....and i guess ill go ahead a post that large amazon sword i got the other day

looking good and should look nice going by your planting plan.
the plant it the rear left hand corner looks like dracaena reflexa which is a terrestial plant I would recomend removing it and putting it into a pot with some potting compost and place it in a window somewhere as it will do much better there.
they are often sold as aquatic plants but only last a short while in the tank before rotting and causing problems.
but other than that it will be interesting to see how the tank develops.

the plant which you are talking about is it the green one right in the corner or the lighter green one with the white around the edges of all the leaves?

its the lighter green one with the white around the edges of all the leaves

hmm.....ill have to keep an eye on em...theres one in my 15g as well (mothers tank)......do normal terrestrial plants float?....when i put this one down i didnt put enough gravel back around it and it came floatin on up.......gona see if i can find some info on it to make sure.....cause its a nice looking plant would hate it if i cant keep in there

i called a friend of mine that works at the pet store and he said the plant WAS a submersable plant and will live....he couldnt find anything on the scientific name ut the common name he gave me was green/sandy jade.......but hen again the plant in your link looks very much like the one in my tank......think for the time being im gona take both pieces of info....ill keep in there for now....but keep a very very close eye on it.....and hey who knows maybe its a ultra rare aquatic plants that i bought for 3bucks and its worth 200?.......ah, a boy can dream.....
