Hi everyone,

I have been researching aquariums since the start of the year, and hope to start my first tank within the next few weeks. I like how visually stimulating aquariums can be.

I live in Oklahoma. I am a college graduate. I work at a retail chain store.

My first purchase will probably be a Reverse Osmosis/Deionizer filter, which should kick start me into the aquarium hobby. I would like my first tank to be a Planted (Echinodorus, Anubias, Cryptocoryne)/Specimen (Corydoras) tank. Hopefully, within the next few months, I will be able to convert one of my rooms, currently an office, into an aquarium breeding room.

Your future first tank sounds lovely and I must admit I'm a bit jealous that you can convert an old office into an aquarium breeding room....would be an awesome thing to have. Again warm welcomes to the forum

I will try to convert my office bedroom into an aquarium room by the end of the year. If I can keep the fish healthy and happy, I will attempt breeding during the fall season of next year.
