 I've got a Kodak DC 5000 2.1mp digital. Not state of the art by any means but OK for snap shots like these. They were taken without any flash. The one of the plug had one of those magnifying fluorescent lights right above it and the other was lit by the tank alone. I usually keep taking pictures until I get lucky and get an acceptable shot. The small tank to the right is home to my daughter's red bellied newt and 2 frogs. She has abandoned them and I have to take care of them now. Kids and pets are such a fleeting thing.
