Yeah, I found a RCS in my crayfish tank a few days ago -- have been looking for it to pull it out, but have not seen it yet.

not yet Cynth, it's been a busy day. I'm just about to sit and start putting the moss on the wood, and a rock (or 2). did you send the whole bunch home with me or is that just half? there's a ton there, it'll go a long ways. thanks a million!

That was all of it. Enough to cover a lot of stuff, hope you have enough glue! I go through a whole tube of crazy glue doing one rock.

I had a 5 gallon I was trying to raise a copepod / daphnia culture in to use as live food, but I was actually having better luck just with jars on the windowsill, so I was cleaning it out the other day to turn it into a spare tank for rearing fry or to use as a quarantine, and found a half grown cherry shrimp crawling in the detritus on the bottom. Hello all,

I live in North Boise, and am a fish nerd. I have 6 tanks from 5 gallon to 55 gallon and in them have shrimp and tropical fish. Plants are my fav part of my tank and plants are the most hated part of my tank. If I only loved them I could let them go, but since it is a love hate relationship I will keep battling for what I want them to look like and keep getting something different,hehe.

I know I am probably dreaming for asking this.. but has anyone seen drop checkers at any of the LFS?

I broke mine trying to clean it....

Oh, I bet it's played by dropping checkerboard cichlids somehow, right?

Very close. Guppies checkerboard guppies... It used to be played with cichlids but that's so yesterday.

cynth-can tell me where to buy the seachems excel? I've tried zamzows and Petco. Does Petsmart carry it? i don't want to drive all over town looking.
