thank you tlef316. unfortunately, all my discus and some other fishes died. somebody messed with the regulator and dumped 3 weeks worth of co2 onto the tank in a day. i was out of town so i couldnt do anything...

are you referring to the bright green plants at the background? those are mayaca fluviatilis. the reason why they are so bright is that those plants are pearling like crazy. every leaf has its own O2 bubble so when the light from the canopy hits it, it reflects the light which makes them over exposed in the picture.

Looks awesome in all forms. I really want to try discus but not any time soon, don't have the time or the funds. This inspires me to look into a bigger tank in the future. I really love both your "manicured" versions and your "mature" versions of this tank.
