Tank Raised Cardinal Tetras

I bought too many. I have 30 perfect tank raised Cardinal Tetras. They are around 6 months old. Great shape... never had one die even with acclimating them.

I would like to sell some of them off. So... if anyone local is interested.... $2.00 each. Would like to sell 20....

PS - these are tank raised not the wild caught. So they are more hardy and the coloring is perfect.

Wow, who bred them??

My understanding is that cardinals are never tank bred and always wild caught (unlike their neon cousin).

From what I have read they are HARD to breed in tanks not impossible to breed. Thus it is cheaper to import than to fail at breeding them continuously.

I get in tank raised all the time. Its not as uncommon as you would think.

same here. might be hard in the hobbyist level but commercial they are breeding a ton of them.
