Has anyone in Canada ordered from Aquatic Magic?

I just realized they didn't charge me tax? How does that work? Do they hold it at the airport, does the mailman ask for money

, do I get invoiced, do THEY cover the custom charges?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Usually under $20 they don't charge you tax and over $20 the post office will ask for the tax to be paid when you pick up the package. It is based on the declared value of your purchase. Some companies are "nice" to you and always declare packages sent to Canada at $20. Not sure if AM is one of those companies though

a little off topic but has anyone in Canada been able to order wood from Malaysian burlworks?? ive tried e-mail them and i never get a response....

I placed an order on Mar 20, 2010 for $61.55 USD. I received free shipping and payed no tax or duty. Once you place the order do not plan on hearing from them again.
Some day the package will just mysteriously arrive.......

ps- don't order the Star Moss if you want it to grow submersed D: Everything i purchased other than the Star Moss was wonderful.

Hi, how long did your order take to arrive? I made and order recently on 10 May so not that long, but still these are plants...

My order took just over 2 weeks to arrive. I didn't order plants though; just equipment.

2ND the star moss, dont buy it if you plan on putting it in an aquarium. But other than that, Ive bought three or four items with no issues. All under 20 bucks. Well packaged, in bubble wrap. But ya, a couple weeks to get to your door..
