Has anyone out there have any idea when and where the auction is? It is normaly held in the middle of February, and their website hasn't been updated, so any infor would be appreciated.

Your info is incorrect, they have moved to a new location this year. It will be this Sunday Feb 20th at the Patchin Fire Hall 8333 Boston State Road in Boston, NY.

I am planning on going, this will be my first time at an aquatic auction.

I scored 5 dwarf albino bristlenoses for $11 and 4 gold marble bristlenoses for $20! Egeria Najas for $1, anubias nana petite for $5

There were a lot of dwarf albino bristlenoses there, good buy. If I see another guppy I may need to seek medical treatment. Seriously enough is enough people. Anyway, I bought a package of lace java that could cover an 11x17" area for $5 and had two packages of Ammannia senegalensis sell for $9 and $11 each. The glosso didn't go over to well. I overhead one winner say she was going to feed it to her gold fish

Oh well it was mostly my fault the plants were not labled as well as they should have been, I didn't give any description, and I totaly missed the "no ziplock" rule. There is always next year.

I was actually thinking about getting the Ammannia senegalensis but I dont think I have enough light. I've seen some beautiful pictures of it though. I saw a protein skimmer go for $2!!!! and a UV Sterilizer go for another $2!!! Probably the best deals I saw go by

I saw the protein skimmer and it looked "very used" I didnt see the UV. Did you see the RO set up go for 30 dollars or so. I was tempted but even if it needed new membranes it was still a good buy.

Ming: If you want to give Ammannia senegalensis a try just let me know. I think it will do alright. I may turn green but the tops will likely turn pink. Just give me a couple weeks and I will send a couple "test" stems your way.
