co2 equipment in sf?
where can i find co2 equipment in the bay area? not a lot of lfs carry them. ive seen stuff at nippon, but i think their stuff is a little overpriced. currently looking for that jbj regulator and a diffusor, maybe an eheim diffusor? im tired of my aqua medic bubble counter leaking, then blowing up in my face! maybe also some co2-proof tubing.
i know albany aquarium carries co2 equipment, but transportation out of sf is an issue. ive never taken bart before.

Other than the actual tank, you will probably find everything cheaper online.

And for a CO2 tank/refill, your choices are fewer. Airgas no longer has a branch at 23rd St. off 3rd St. as I just found out yesterday morning when my 20lb. tank ran out. Looks like I'll have to go to one of their branches in the provinces; SSF or Berkeley. Does anyone know of a place still in the City?

Check them out for Co2 equipment, I bought plants and JBJ lights from them. Good stuff and fast delivery. the JBJ regulators go for about $75, the Milwaukee goes for about $65. The only Airgas I know if is in San Rafael, a 5lb Co2 tank filled goes for about $65 before tax. Good luck. I'm still debating getting a CO2 system as the DIY Co2 is not consistent even though my plants look ok, they aren't growing as nice as others that I have seen with CO2. |
