dwarf hair grass

Im still waiting on my regulator and ph controller to arrive then Im going to place my plant order. I have the tank running a silent cycle with hornwart and anacharis with no co2 right now until my package arrives then I'll order the desirable plants, glosso and dwarf hair grass.

Couple questions: The hornwart and anacharis I got to cycle the tank with were bought in bad shape and are not looking any better after two days in the new tank under 175w MH. Leaves are coming off and floating around. I planted the anacharis and just floated the hornwart. Will they come around while waiting for the co2 to arrive or should I pull them and get more when co2 is hooked up?

Second, should I order dwarf hairgrass potted or bare root? The bare root is grown emersed and the potted submersed.

Pull the dead floating leaves out of the tank but leave the stems...they should recover. As far as the hairgrass goes, I believe in starting with any plants in submersed form when at all possible because they take less time to acclimate and this being a new tank you need every advantage you can get.

I bought mine potted. Was a bit diffucult to get out of the wool. Some suggest using a fork. Spreading well in my tank under 3.25wpg, but is prone to algae and debris getting caught in it.
