nano shrimp tank plants

im building a macquarium out of plexiglas, it is going to hold around three gallons, its probably gonna hold some cherries and maybe some amanos. i was wondering what kind of plants would work in a low light and maybe no fert environment. i was thinking some mosses like taiwan moss on driftwood, but thats a bit hard to come by. im trying to build some small lighting system for it so itll have around 8 watts. oh yea, if you want to see the tutorial here it is, http://www.techquarium.com/aquaria/plans/index.html
