Entry for TPT t-shirt design!

Yeah, Hoppy hit it on the head. We don't have an art staff to convert/recreate people's sketches to quality files.

However! if your idea is just simple text and shapes, We can deal with that. I can convert that for you.

Another good idea for a Tee Shirt design would include pearling on the plant - I didn't think of that before or I would have tried it. Can we withdraw a design and replace it with the new, longer, lower, wider, more horsepower version?

My 2 year olds entry...

If I did a drawing and scanned and entered it like this would it be OK? Remember youre talking to an idiot when it comes to these things.

Yes, you can withdraw, just edit your post. Everything is final at the closing date, 2-01-2011.

Editing is good. You get the best product that way.

Yes, entering a scan is acceptable. please scan it at 200-300+ dpi (dots per inch) and the design should be around 10"x10". And you have to promote TPT.

I like the first one with the altum angel... only thing is the plant looks more like a claw or hand about to devour the fish... also, I hate the font.

The fish is awesome. Love the "plant head" guy... Also like the splashes of color on the cardinals and denisons, but dislike the plants...

just random criticisms... would buy a shirt though if it was cool...

I will enter,I love to draw!Just out of curiosity,since you want the layers,could i save it in the psd.Format?Or do i need to convert to PNG?I can do either,just though if you are reading with photoshop,why convert?

the png is for cafepress. It's a lossless compression unlike jpeg where you can see funky pixels in fields of color... Having it on layer is for making it transparent. It's not necessary if it's printed on white t-shirts. It save me the trouble of converting.

You can give either format to me..

ps... For non-photoshop people, you can use what comes with Windows, "Paint"

Design # 1. (#2 coming in a few days)
It's in a PNG but i totally missed the transparency part, it's black and white so easy to select etc. (I can email it in correct format if needed).

(also needs a little bit of smoothing out & such, but thats cake)

This would be on a black shirt ideally, but white would obviously work too!
CBS on a rock and an Eriocaulon!
Either the shrimp is HUGE or the erio is TINY!

***Edit: You can't see it, but there is an 8px white border framing the entire thing!

I made a sketch, and now I'm waiting for my fiance to actually do something with it in Photoshop. I'll start nagging him on it this weekend, since he does work all the time during the week.

I really like the last one! Definitely something I would wear.
