Cycle a Zoo Med 501
Hey forum I have a 110g cichlid tank and a 10g for the babies from that tank. Im going to start a planted 7g mr aqua. I was wondering if while I was waiting for the tank to arrve in a day if should put the zoo med 501 on one of my tanks to cycle it and if so which one. Advise would be appreciated

You could start your filter cycling on either of those aquariums. I would probably try it on the 10g, as the Zoo Med 501 does not have much power, and will need to be placed essentially on the same level as the water line of whatever aquarium you intend to use it on.
