African Cichlid Lecture by Ad Konings; GSAS (Seattle)

The Greater Seattle Aquarium Society (GSAS) is pleased to sponsor a free lecture on Lake Tanganyika sand-dwelling cichlids by Ad Konings, author of over 30 books on Tanganyikan, Malawi, Central American, South American, and Lake Victorian cichlids.

The lecture will be tomorrow Tuesday May 11th, 2010 at 7:30PM at Seattle Pacific University; Otto Miller Hall; Room 109; West Nickerson Street and 3rd Avenue West

Doors will open around 7:10PM; the meeting will start at about 7:30PM

The lecture will be followed by a short auction

Open to the public, no entrance fee
Family friendly but no childcare provided
Free parking, accessible building, no furry or feathered pets

If only i lived in washington =(. i have a 55 gallon cicihlid tank with yellow labs, but all they do is hide in the rocks.

Anyway to get him back again? I am starting a 75g cichlid tank and it would be nice to see "the master" talk about it....

Hi Caton,

Members can download the Bitorrent video from the GSAS.org website. It's a good video, Erik Olson did a great job editing it!

Hi Caton,

I am wrong, the Ad Konings talk "Lake Tanganyika Shell Dwellers" is not available via BitTorrent download, it is available for members to check out from the library. It is on GSAS DVD Volume #10 and also has the 2010 GSAS Home Show and Jen Reynolds (Senior Biologist at the Vancouver Aquarium) on Traveling to Lake Tanganyika, and her research with Neolamprologus pulcher. Sorry for my mistake!
