Looks like Google reviewed the website and took it off of their blacklist! Hooray!

Browsers seem to be reflecting this, but the search index has not quite caught up. Will probably take a couple of days for that to happen.

In order to ensure the security of the forum I disabled all 3rd party plugins. I am slowly going to be re-enabling them over time ensuring first that they don't have any security vulnerabilities. This does however mean that some functionality will be missing for the time being.

I know of one "user" here who has a spam post on at least 4 forums. Obviously a moderator could search for all posts by that "user" and delete all of them, plus rescind that person's, if it is a person, membership. I suspect that is happening now.

Has something happened to the forum's auto-picture-resizing feature with all of this, or is it just that I'm on a diff computer than usual?

(Basically my question is- is anyone else experiencing posts with big pictures running off the sides of their screens or is it just me?)

Depending how the software for the board is setup, there is a chance they use a 3rd party tool for different features. If that is the case, Kyle posted above that he would be disabling the 3rd party software, and slowly re-enabling it once he is certain it is clear.

Man I hate dealing with stuff like this I feel for the admins and moderators. I have been tracking alot of suspicious activity on my site. No breaches but they are definitely testing the fences LOL. Must be the aquarium sites turn for the hacks. I know of several forums that have been attacked in the last week. The spammers are also out in full force. I am helping a friend build forums for his business and within 5 minutes of being live he was getting spammed. We had to block all new registrations.

I would recommend everyone go and run the online scanner from housecalltrendmicro. It looks for hacks and exploits that many other programs overlook. It has saved me many times. LOL

Well at least they don't have nasty pictures. I was a mod for a forum that got hacked or something couple years ago and there were nasty nasty pictures all over the place...

We had a couple bad pictures get one from spammer on another forum, it was only a couple though, taken care of quickly, but after that for about a week my computer was silently downloading other, ryhmes with corn, pictures onto my computer, like in my picture files. It was weird, and now lately my computer has been on the frits, I will be on for less then 5 minutes and it already is so slow that I don't see half of what I type til I press send. Also, whenever I right click, the box doesn't appear, but if I drag over it the words highlight...

I had a heck of a time with the site hack here, if I clicked on TPT, it would go to the blocked page, but I would hit ignore and it would freeze, I made it threw but it was under maintenance, and then froze.

EDIT: I've runs scans using two different softwares, deep scans, and nothing showed up. It won't matter too much I'm getting a new laptop for xmas (hopefully)
