Over driving shortens the life of a fluorescent tube. Getting bulbs by the case makes over driving a real bargain for me. While I've seen, and purchased 24" lamps/bulbs by the case, I've never seen a case of 18" lamps.
yeah the kind and brands of light i use are not very easy to come by in a case but i usually buy them as i see them and will keep a good stock that way , they run just under 7 dollars a bulb

thank you my wife think so too, it is a combination of a standard walmart plant bulb and aqua rays bulb

Super job. Your next post will be about an algae bloom.

If you read the specs on a particular ballast most of them are designed to drive more than one bulb length. Sometimes shortening the bulb length increases the number of bulbs they will drive.

I am expecting to see some algae but hopefully not a total take over lol
