Any idea if this wood could be used?

I found this recently on the shoreline of my lake, which is a pretty clean lake from what I understand. It wasn't submerged when I found it, but it was wet when I found it and I figure it's spent plenty of time near/in water. Does it look like something someone would use in an aquarium after cleaning it really well? Or does it give you a general feeling that its not suitable? Thanks!!!

Looks like it is well aged, so that even if the fresh wood might have been bad, any nasties from the tree are gone by now.
Ditto: Boil it (if you can) and go for it!

Nice looking piece of wood :-)

you should have it boiled, and in the tank by now.

Id love to see what is happening on the rest of that t-shirt as well as seeing that wood in a tank. Both look like they have potential
