wats up everyone just signed up to the forum and seen that theres a az section. im gona be starting a jbj 6 gallon nano tank just looking for some advice on where to start. what i want is something thats not gona cost a fortune but still look good like i said im not even sure were to start lol any advice is welcome thxs i have some gravel thats been sitting around for a while not even sure what kind it is or if tis any good ill post some pics of it later today so some one could tell me thxs andrei

One advantage of not wanting to spend a fortune is that you won't be tempted to go with what ever is available today. You have to be pickier about what you put in the tank. Restraint and patience are the keys - in my opinion, particularly since I lack both at times - to a great looking tank. Mine tend to show my impatience.

Check out AAPE (Arizona Aquatic Plant Enthusiasts). They hold monthly meetings, the september one is tomorrow. They trade, buy, and sell plants/fish; as well as talk about the hobby.
