I'd like to get a couple of common Plecs out, in favor of dwarf clown plecs. I've tried netting them by sneaking up while they are on the front glass, but they are totally on to me.
Any commercial or home-made traps you can recommend, and/or other techniques? |

You might try introducing a piece of PVC pipe, open both ends. If the pleco moves into the pipe, place a hand over each end of the pipe while the fish is inside, lift and move fish with pipe.

if you haven't already done this:
1) buy the biggest net you can find. 2) drain a lot of your water. 3) use another net to chase him into the bigger one. be careful when removing it from the net. their fins can get easily snagged. |
