Well folks have at it,
Here are a few views of my 140, I had to drop a piece of blood worm in the corner to get the discus to get outa my way. otherwise they crowd infront of the camera food begging foreground is UG, its taking its sweet time growing, hopefully in a month or 2 I would have more ![]() ![]()

Can't wait for the UG to fill in the foreground.
On the first pic the back right corner feels empty compared bushyness of the other 2/3rds of the tank. Looks great though. Craig |

Yes I agree,
Theres actually supposed to be a bush of Crypt Wendtii green gecko there, but apparently its not growing as quickly as I want it to be growing. I dont think warm water affects crypts but its not doing its job, I may replace this plant with something else that has a roundish leaves

Wow, great looking tank.
Btw, on the first pic, what are those bushy plants right below the discus? |

The only thing I notice is the large clump of blyxa? on the left side in the first photo is very overpowering. If possible you might wanna thin it out a bit.
I really like the rocky hollow right in the middle.

Thats a good thing!
I was thinking if you pulled some of your red stems towards the foreground and making a "street" per say between your balyxa you could really add some pop to that area, then again you would have to move your tonias somewhere else or lessen their amount. (those are tonias right? I'm terrible at stem IDs) But the tank looks wonderful regardless. -Andrew

I like it. I like the bare foreground. To me that seems to add a ton of depth vs. a planted foreground. Nice work on the back corner I need to show the wifey this when she gets home. We're working on plans for a 180g. Yours will be an example!!! kudos!

How many filters do you use and what kind are they? Love your tank and your fish by the way!

Personal preference really, but with Discus I would kind of expect some swords or longer, leafy plants. Otherwise, good job.
