How to bring fish to swap?
So I should have thought of this before, but just realized I have no idea how to bring the few fish I am bringing to the GCCA swap tomorrow. Can I use big zip lock bags?

Some people use zip lock bags, coolers, or larger fish bags. I know my LFS has used bags that they use for selling live plants and will give them away to people who need to transport fish. I would try your LFS and see if they do the same. A larger zip lock should work, as long as it holds enough air.

The LFS is already closed. I'll see if my grocery has some 1 gallon zip locks.

I know it's too late to help you but local fish stores may sell or give you some bags.
Also, while you are at the swap meet, see if anyone is selling fish bags. They are usually available at our auctions and meetings. I don't know of any fish club that permits ziploc or food storage bags as an appropriate container for meets, auctions or club events. Most will allow clear plastic containers or buckets with lids, as long as they don't leak.

Thank you all for the help. I did not have a table, just met up with a few people for a trade. I ended up getting 2 1/2 gallon zip lock bags and taped the corners so so bag would be more square. Worked out just fine.
