Anyone know of any plant clubs that meet in southwest or south-central michigan? Like Grand Rapids or Lansing area? Maybe even Kalamazoo?? I'd just love to get something like that going, a place to swap plants/fish/equipment/stories/ideas/whatever.

There are no clubs specifically for aquatic plants, but the Grand Valley Aquarium Club meets in GR and has many plant enthusiasts as members. There is an auction at every meeting. The club meets on the second Saturday of the month at the Holiday Inn Express at 131 and 68th. street. There website is www.grandvalleyaquariumclub.org

there's a group/club of people from lansing area that is in the beginning stages. Its mostly talk for now, only a couple members. They/we are planted tank enthusiasts but i'm sure it wont' be specifically centered on planted tnaks. I'll check on it and get back.
