Hi All,
I am thinking of getting my 55 up and running (it has been sitting for years and I just read a good thread that gave me some ideas). I ran across a fixture on CL that might be great or might be to much. It is a Coralife 48" CFL Aqualight. It holds 4 21" cfl's (55-65w each) and has directional led's for moonlight viewing. It seems like it is a reef light. I was thinking of running 2 6500k bulbs and 2 10,000k bulbs. Is this too much light for a 55? If it isn't would it require CO2? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

IMHO you would prolly burn low light plants and i would run pressurized Co2. Make sure all nutrients are kept in check also .
I fly in two feet first into anything and i dont follow most " guides " my stuff always turns out great and grows awesome. Sometimes you gotta just try and then adapted IMO of course |
